Voice Connect – New Automated Telephone Service

By the end of the month, our telephone system will have an automated service option called Voice Connect.
With this service, patients will be able to:
– Book GP appointments
– Check the time and date of appointments
– Cancel appointments
– Order repeat medication (the first time this is done, patients will be asked to create their own pin which must be kept safe)
PLEASE NOTE: Patients will still be able to speak to a member of our reception team if they wish to.
This service will improve accessibility and save our patients’ time as those who choose to use the automated service, will not have to wait in our telephone queue.
PLEASE NOTE: Our reception team still aren’t able to take prescription requests over the phone. To request medication, please use the new automated service, the NHS app or put your request in writing via letter or email.
