Receptionist
A receptionist is the first point of contact for a patient and will ask you the reason for your appointment request. They are skilled in navigating the resources available to them and signposting patients to services or the appropriate clinician for their needs.
Administration Team
The administrative team work closely with the health care professionals to ensure patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Roles include: processing incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring medical records data is collated and organising recalls for health management. Our administrative team comprises of clinical coders, registration clerks, medical secretaries, office administrators, care coordinators and general practice assistants.
Prescribing Team
The prescribing team process routine prescriptions in line with strict guidelines and under the supervision of the GPs. They organise recalls for safety checks and liaise with the clinical team to resolve patient queries. The prescribing team is available daily 8am to 5pm.
Social Prescriber
A social prescriber connects patients to activities, groups and services in the local community so that they can meet the practical, social and emotional needs which affect their health and wellbeing.
Practice Manager
Responsible for the smooth running of the practice including strategic and business planning, finance and funding planning, workforce management and industry and legal compliance.
