If you are calling for results, please help us by calling after 2.00pm. The surgery is quieter then.
All results are assessed by the doctors. Our reception team will then tell patients their results. The receptionist will also say if the patient needs to discuss the results with a clinician.
The practice has a strict policy on confidentiality and data protection. We’ll only tell the patient their results. This is unless the patient gives prior permission to share them or the patient cannot understand the results.
When you take your test, someone will tell you how long it’ll be before the results come back.
You are responsible for checking your results. If advised, make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor.
