Patient Survey Result 2019

This report gives the responses given to this year’s patient survey conducted by Ipsos MORY for NHS England for all practices in Thanet against the national average. We would like to thank all patients who were sent the survey and took the time to complete and return it.

We are pleased that patients of Westgate Surgery have answered positively and that we score better than the national average in all areas. We want to continue to build on this improving services for patients and for those working with us.

Since the last survey we have improved the telephone system and provided training for reception staff in dealing with calls and this has been reflected in our improving results in these areas.

Actions we are planning in the coming months include

  • Further improving how we use practice website to make information more accessible to patients and
  • Offering patients a choice of appointments for routine things at times that suit them better.
